What is next for the Chilean miners after 69 days of being buried?
They are finally out after being buried alive for 69 days, but what now? Even if their lives were confined and they did not see the light of day these guys have been living a positive lifestyle. While the world above them has been filled with accidents, wars, murders, storms and other sorts of bad news these miners have been fed, been giving medical and physiological treatment and also been given information that can only be described as “positive”.
I am wondering if they are going to be monitored for the effects (positive or negative) that they will experience once they get back to living a normal life. I wonder how they are going to react and see how their country and the world around them evolved around them for better or worse in the past 69 days.
For a few days these guys have been subjected to yoga, meditation, and positive thinking. For 69 days 33 miners have been living in perfect harmony in the most inhumane conditions.
What this proves is that “we” can survive, the human spirit does incline to live in love and harmony. Here is an idea; instead of doing these world summits in some swanky hotel in a developed country maybe we need to bury all world leaders deep down in Chilean mine and see what happens next.
